Not Risking Death

From the Atelier

I commissioned Hanis Nadzir for this and two others. She was introduced to me by a close friend who sent me her portfolio. Although she is a graduate in Film and Television, she is a graphic designer who does movie posters and has an eye for the dramatic.

This was the first of three pieces she prepared for me. I enjoyed this one a lot. She blends the elements from the narrative masterfully into a coherent, yet uneasy whole, with a handful of colours. It was fun picking out the story’s ornaments from the artwork.
