I followed Zee Tan‘s work on Facebook before I got around to approaching him for a piece. He has a vibrant personality and his is versatile in terms of his medium. That can be seen from his website, Z.Wang. When I got in touch, he was doing a number of murals at the time. I enjoyed his work and was happy when he agreed to do a piece for me.
Zee Tan was easy to work with, bubbly and quick with his work. I like how his piece captures the imagery of the game covers I used to play and how he kept the colours and visuals plain without too much elaboration. It better conveys the sense of simplicity of that time for me and the directness of the gaming experience then.
