Hasan Ali and Me | Part 3 | From the Atelier

What I love about Iman’s artworks for this series is how he has captured the sense of forlorn melancholy about Hasan Ali’s tragedy. In this piece, he reflects the internal rage and loneliness that I felt Hasan Ali struggled with. The four vertical bars represent the imprisonment of his mind and so his soul. Though he walked as a free man, he continued to be imprisoned in his own hell.
