I chose Jun Kit for this piece. I thought it to be one of the more challenging pieces to translate and Jun Kit’s intelligence and aesthetic appropriate for it. I am happy to be correct on that account. Jun Kit gave me 5 options to consider for him to work on and develop.
Option 2 was the one that caught my attention first followed by Option 1 and then Option 3.
When given options by the artists, I like to take my time to think about it, re-read the essay to see whether they resonate, and then just let it rest in the mind. After doing so, I went with Option 3, which I thought was very clever and most apt for the essay.
